Opened bottle and poured after a couple hours. Beautiful color - light yellow but dense. This was from a perfectly kept bottle part of a 6-bottles OWC. The nose is delicate with patchouli, lavender, sage, Mayer lemon, not much oak.
Palate is still fresh, with nice acidity and rich notes of custard, nectarines, and nascent tertiary notes of leather to make it complex and layered.
The ending is long with spice and oaky notes.
In a great spot, very enjoyable and likely at or near pick, but no rush to drink it if you have well-kept bottles. This should keep easily a few years more.

A great wine to drink now while the more structured vintages like 2008 mature in the cellar. This wine is fleshy and and pungent, “slutty” is the best way I have heard it described. This is a typical characteristic of the 2009 vintage in Chablis. In spite of these characteristics, this wine maintains the typical saline and tidal pool characteristics that I love about Chablis. Drink now.

Given the almost 17% flaw rate for this wine, and our mixed experience with Fevre Chablis from the 00s, we opened our bottle with low expectations -- but were pleasantly surprised. PnP, chilled, but the wine did open somewhat in the glass. Some aromas of lemon and minerality. The medium to plus bodied palate yielded lots of lemon, some green apple, minerality, and juicy acidity. Ready to be enjoyed now, don't risk waiting.

Very beautiful. roundness reflects the vintage but still very Chablis. Excellent with scallops and corn and scampi!!

Big forward fruit; has length and depth. Finish is classy Chablis - chalk, acid. Complex and long.
