  • This started off quite hard and unresolved but the aromatics continued to develop throughout the evening. Lots of dried cherry, licorice, clove, cinnamon with pungent iron/blood, smoky minerality on top of various fungal tones and dustings of humus. This is not particularly harmonious and the finish continues to be quite dry but the extract adds width in the glass over the first hour. Maintains more primary fruit than one would think. This is holding up remarkably well.
