Popped and poured. Aromas of cranberry and cinnamon with hints of rubber. Tart palate of cranberry and lemon. Pleasant finish, with red berry flavors. Good acids, well balanced. Simple but typical Burgundian pinot noir that was a spectacular value at ~$14 a bottle. Potential for future development but quite nice as it is.

Not a profound wine for you snobs to linger over before your fireplace in your velvet smoking jacket, but a nice straightforward light-bodied burg for the rest of us.

So, let's just say that this wine was wonderful to drink. Light, bright, and with a good strawberry-like flavor. It was a tiny bit tannic and acidic (it cuts a fatty steak nicely), yet it's really enjoyable and drinkable. Maybe it's not the most subtle of villages wine, but this is better than many hi-teens priced Bourgognes.

Light, attractive color. Floral nose. Light bodied and not complex. Some minerality, strawberry, and a tart finish. Enjoyable at this price point.
