Note mistake on vintage - it was the 2006, not 2008. (Label printing small and indistinct.) Lovely wine. Smooth, good length, still with pleasant fruit flavours that have gained complexity with age.

This wine provides excellent value, with the quality of fruit and cellar worthy structure of more expensive wines from the same vintage.
The wine is a dark red in colour and has a lifted nose of blackberry and cedar, the palate has concentrated fruit and tightly bound tannins and oak. This wine will continue to evolve over the next 8-10 years. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2013-2019)

It had an eucalyptus and earthy aroma which quite often appears in coonawarra cabernet sauvignon. Some cassis and cherry taste but not rich. Texture was smooth and comfortable. The finish was chocolate-like with notable tannin. Some weak cherry and blackberry aftertaste. The body was not quite solid especially after 2 hours of serving. Not bad but also not outstanding.

A steal at less than $10, and probably the best wine I've had at this price range.
Dusty and blackcurrant nose, ripe sweet blackcurrant fruit on the entrance, and good length and fine tannins. Can drink now, but will improve for another 5-7 years.
