  • Still amazingly pale yellow. A touch of honey, pure Golden Delicious apple, and a bit of yellow peach. Ethereal light weight. Off dry, spicy orchard and stone fruit, excellent acidity, and fine grained slate on the finish. Gorgeous, lilting Riesling that is delicious now but only at an early secondary stage of development.

  • Keller Open Afterparty (Weingut Keller): After the last dessert KP Keller asked David for another "light sip" and he blinded us with this stunner. It has everything you've want from a Spätlese. Sometimes I had my problems with J.J. Prüm, but when they are very good like here, not many producers in the Mosel could keep up with them. A super elegant nose with white peach, garden herbs, white flowers and just a hint of sweetness. Like a animating sea breeze. On the palate this flows down like a alpine brook. So fresh, easy drinking with just a hint of creaminess. Long finish. An absolutely incredible showing. Unfortunately the Auction wines from J.J. are very expensive.
