  • Cork was in horrible shape, had serious concerns as I had to push the final part into the bottle. Strained into a decanter and consumed over 2+ hours. Dark garnet color. Nose was a bit muted but showed ripe red fruit, some smokiness and herbal aspects. Taste was ripe red fruits (cherry and raspberry). Nice texture with silky tannins dominating over the acids. First Ancellota I can remember having.
