Cherry red color. Faint nose of violets. Pleasant enough fruit on the palate, cherry, blackberry. Soft tannins, good acidity and balance. Finishes moderately long with cherry notes. Persistent, faint green note. Under screw cap. 14.9% ABV.

-- cracked and poured -- -- tasted non-blind over a few hours --
NOSE: expressive; very ripe stewed purple fruits (prunes/raisins); sweet blackberry/prune syrup; not funky; gentle anise note.
BODY: garnet-violet color of medium-deep depth, with some slight bricking at the edges; fine particulate matter present; medium to medium-full bodied.
TASTE: earthy and oaky; dumb, dark fruits --- are the fruit flavors already aging out of this wine?; tannins are very drying; low to medium-low acidity; 14.9% alc. not noticeable; prunes/raisins; hint of coffee on the finish; I preferred this younger --- this bottle came across as somewhat anonymous.

Similar notes to last time, but starting to notice this fading off.
Drink sooner than later.
