  Really youthful showing, plenty of red fruit left, overtly full stem on the nose, silky and long finish, wow! On second day, the stemminess resolves and shows a more meaty side

  Lots of bricking and lightness - definitely showing its age. Nose of clove and spice, but not especially strong. It hasn't gone bad in any way, but it seems just a little faded and tired. The fruit is pretty much gone, but the secondary flavors that should be replacing it are not really there. Nice texture and mouthfeel. Maybe five years ago it would have been in better shape?
