  Surprisingly very nice on the pop 'n pour. Dark fruit profile - fairly fruit forward, good balancing acidity, restrained use of oak, and finishing with some grippy tannins. Overall, a very nice wine at this price point. Drinking well now, but could use a couple more years to tame the tannins.
