  • Beautiful dark red berries, crushed strawberries. Powded sugar, rhubarb, chocolate. After 30 min in the glass the fruit takes a step back and deeper dirtier notes appear with undergrowth and moist earth. Acidity dominates the palate, the fruit very much in the backseat. Farm yard and green herbs. Medium long aftetaste. Pretty sure this bottle wasn't 100% correct, there's almost no fruit at all on the palate. Either way a disappointment as the bottle came with big expectations.

  • I'm trying to catch up on TNs and all I remember about this wine is that it reminded me why I love Mount Eden. Just a wonderful bottle of wine.

  • Bottle 00878. 13.5% alcohol. Ruby core with brick red, orange-tinged rim. Lovely, expressive nose of cherry, raspberry, cranberry, pinot funk and a touch of VA for complexity. The palate is stacked with tart cranberry, raspberry, and rose petals. Structurally, there is tangy acidity in this light-bodied wine as well as a silky mouthfeel. The finish has solid length with cranberry and rose notes. Overall, this is uniquely individualistic with cranberry tanginess, lively acidity, and a light, yet silky, mouthfeel. Nicely done.

  • 13.5% abv. Medium ruby red. Expressive red fruit and floral aromas. On the palate, red raspberry, cherry, strawberry and rose petals. Good depth and length, excellent balance. An excellent Pinot still on the ascent.

  • Decanted for two hours. I love the tension and strutting entry, with classicism and artfulness. So long and savory, there's dried cranberry, truffle oil, musk and cola, with a little cherry wood. There's a fine balance to appreciate. Drink now - 2023.
