Sous bois, molded cherry, faint truffle, faded violet perfume, chocolate, quite beautiful on nose
Palate is thin, but mouth-filling and velvety, elegant, elderly but seductive, very long-lived indeed; palate is not as complex as the nose but lovely and ever present; a truly delightful old burgundy

Medium body. Red fruits, spice - deep nose with plenty of nuance. Firm acidity, and still very youthful with medium-grain tannin. Medium weight, and surprisingly well-balanced and supported. Delicious.
