My note from 2015 still works for me. Severely mineral, charred meat, scented markers, black licorice, dutch cocoa, sweet clean soil, great acidity, coarse tannin. If this ever manages to resolve some texture it would be great.
Similar to my last bottle in 2013, along with other notes I'm seeing here. Lots of sediment, so definitely stand up ahead of time and decant. Aromas of blueberry, cherry, cedar, eucalyptus, and potting soil. Cherries, blueberries, tobacco, and iron on the palate, with medium body and finish, medium(+) acidity, and still a bit of grainy tannin, but not too in the way of enjoyment. Drinking well.

As before, this held up over night with p[potting soil, tobacco, cherry and pronounced tannins that really made it interesting. The acidity and overall tannic structure were very well balanced and could easily hold up to a bigger, more robust meal. 92+

Quite nice, this wine changed a lot after being opened about an hour - it went from somewhat closed and lean to more lush, with cherry and plum and even the tannin seemed more pronounced yet round. An undercurrent of earthiness throughout. Very enjoyable.

A mix of superfine and chunky/sludgy sediment. Lava, sweet potting soil, smouldering incense, freshly sawn cedar, montmorency cherries, iodine, dried flowers, tar, cocoa powder. Burly, with lots of astringent tannin still, plenty of acidity benefits from food. Very southern Italian. Good.
