  • Really fantastic. Still great primary fruit on the nose, but also with cedar, graphite, and some other savories. Soft bright fruit on the front of the palate, good grip and long finish. Excellent wine from young vines and one of the more overall enjoyable Red Mountain wines I have had lately. This still has a long life ahead of it.

  • Double decanted. Initially the nose was still closed and there was some heat, but after an hour it really started to come together. Agree with previous comments, red fruit, floral notes, medium body and medium/long finish. Really evolved nicely over 4 hours and clearly has some great life ahead of it.

  • Decanted half and then poured from remainder over dinner. Richly flavorful, tasty, aromatic & interesting from start to finish. Red fruits, cedar and richer dark fruit/earth backdrop with overlay of hints of blossoms. To have this overlay stood out to me. Moderate weight with mid to long finish. Not much tannin and drinking with fine balance. Quite pervasive and absorbing even with the most economical of sips.

  • Cedar and intense fruit on nose. Aromatics flow into a juicy, multi-layered mouthful.

  • Dark maroon with some ruby around the rim. The nose was quite tight on open, so I gave it a rough decant and left it an hour or so before putting back in the bottle and taking to a Halloween party for the kids and parents tonight. Once open this showed some dark, brooding aromatics, but a surprisingly red fruited palate. The Cab Franc really plays well here and the PV shows up in spades with some peppercorn character on the back of the palate.

Richly textured, and not as tannic as I expected. This shows great depth, but also a pleasant approachability. Delicious wine.

(Cadence Winery Camerata Red Wine Cara MIa Vineyard Red Mountain) Medium ruby. Locked up tightly, this wine opens up to aromas of cranberry, rose hips, floral notes, and mineral notes. The palate has focused, ripe fruit flavors on a well-integrated scaffolding of tannins that squeeze the palate before gently letting go. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot. 14.4% alcohol.
