Lovely nose of honey, lemon oil and chalky minerals. Really needs time in the glass to open up and this particular bottle is drinking quite young with that sexy oily beeswax texture that white Bordeaux can develop. There are delicious flavors of honeycomb and orange zest along with notes of clove and minerals. The finish isn't all that complex but the long honey character is enchanting. Could still use a few years of further aging to show its best. 93+
Underbar doft med honung, bivax, nötter, olivolja, grape och läder. Koncentrerat och kraftfullt vin med underbar mineralitet och fet långavslutning med honung och lite beska. Man dricker alldeles för lite vit Bordeaux
Really needed air to open up and then shows a classic texture of beeswax with tasty flavors of grapefruit, hay and brown spices. The finish really builds to a fine, dense complexity with lots of minerals. This is approaching maturity.
Lemon yellow. Hay, dried herbs, lanolin, gentle spice. Soft and pretty. Soft mouthfeel, creamy, soft-medium weight, finishes with clean crisp acidity but not overly tart. Delicious sweet gooseberry, lemons, lemon curd, some sweet sherbet, fine dried herbs and light hay. Pure and refined, nothing heavy, all in excellent balance. Seems more sem than sav, definitely no evidence of sweaty characters. Superb.

(Chateau Laville Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan) Semillon 83%, Sauvignon Blanc 17%. An interesting nose here, starting off slightly volatile, slightly medicinal, and still showing some oak. It possesses an attractively rounded weight on the palate, with a nicely balanced poise. Fresh pear fruit, very stylish in character, and beautifully firm. Pithy but elegant and very admirable. Excellent potential here.
