Minneapolis Tastes Spain (Unico, Mauro, Janus, Closa Batllet, Clio, Numanthia): The nose is subdued, giving a nice pear/peach fruit with some minerality. On the palate this is dominated by concentrated fruit in a slightly sweet style with accents of mineral and oak poking through. Flavor coats the palate and lingers nicely on a fairly long finish.

Tasting Group Dinner - Spain (Solera, Minneapolis): Very interesting, almost Gewürztraminer-like nose of muskmelons, honey, and a hint of petrol. Full-bodied, honeyed orchard fruit.

Hint of honey on nose. Bright fruity flavor with underlying minerality. It was excellent with a cioppino.

Consistent with previous. Gripping acidity, nice mineral notes. Very good with a seafood sausage salad and strong mustard vinaigrette.

(Tasting pour at Grapes of Mirth by rep) Very crisp and clean. True to type with a nice mineral and bright fruit acid.
