Standing two feet away I can smell it come up from the glass. This is day two. Wow, now this is a nose: chocoalte, deep dark cherries, blackberries, bluefruit. Wow. In a sea of other cabernets simply stunning.
And then the palate. Built like a brick-you-know what. Tannic, burly, a touch surly, I love it. Seems bigger than previous vintages. Or rather darker.
Its a beauty.
One of the few Napa Cabs that I have recently which finishes clean and like water.
