Burgundy night at IT Paragon: Was kicking myself not guessing this, was between PYCM (for the reductive but ripe fruit) or Ramonet (for the spearmint note on the nose) Chassagne but went for the latter. Clearly a warm vintage but drinking so youthfully that I went for 2015. Very linear and well-balanced, a profile of white Burgundy that was very much up my alley.

Second bottle of three and just gorgeous. Same as first note with usual reductive nose and green hue. Maybe it was the right wine on the night as tempted to go even higher score wise but certainly very enjoyable. Resolved and round but with decent enough verve to hold up and keep fresh.

This has been consistently lovely, and bottle ten from the case is no different. Nicely mature, classic PYCM feel to it, rounded mid-palate and a positive finish. Elegant, smooth and perfectly balanced. ****

Lovely nose though some sulphur initially which eases quickly. Oak there but very nicely integrated though supports . Lovely easy drinking with enough cut on the finish to wrap up a mid weight wine with decent richness. Paired with roast pork but a good proportion of the bottle was gone before the food was ready. 91+ ? Would like to try another bottle soon

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting, 15/11/09 vertical from magnum. Also on the lush side, showing the vintage more than anything else. Good now, doubt there is further upside.
