In an absolutely terrific place right now. Crystal pristine and focused minerality. Citrusy, creamy pie filling. The oak and reduction that others noted while this was in its youth have faded/integrated. This is an excellent value.

Alas my last bottle and by far the best one. This had a magnificent presence in the glass as it stood tall, and proudly providing ample pleasure of fruits(which are surprisingly present) toasted bread, slight iodine all in a most pleasant and suave texture. Wow... the back end seems to have gained a good length and it is all uplifting indeed. Cheers,

Classic PYCM, struck match; plenty of potency on palate. Very good now, this should age well.

La Paulée de San Francisco - The Verticals (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. 10/09/08 vertical. From magnum. Somewhat matchsticky/ reductive, so tough to fairly assess.
