Offered up with pork tenderloin and roasted vegetables. Color is a dark ruby, demure nose of minerals and stone, barely noticeable cherry and black fruit buried there as well. Simple flavor profile of dark plum and prune accentuated on the finish with some pucker. Mushroom aromas on the empty glass as this opens. Last bottle from a case, this has been a pretty consistent albeit simple go to wine that has lost some of it's zing over the years but still a decent table wine. WS highly recommended #29 wine of the year at a 94 was a bit generous IMHO.
