Saturday Night New World Double Blind, $40+ (Bin 75): Very dark core with thin watery dull garnet rim; tar, reductive, stewed cherry; soft texture, sweet cherry, darker fruit, tannin clamps down later on, Cab-like, spicy, red currant.

Unbelievably smooth wine with the perfect finish ever! Both my hubby and I agree that this is possibly one of the best wines we've tasted at home. It was packaged nicely by Treasury Wines and arrived on time. We shared both bottles with 2 other friends, one of who doesn't like red wine a whole lot. But she too found this wine very drinkable and extremely tasty. Looking forward to downing the other 4 bottles!
