Full body, a tone of greenish fruits form start to finish. Salty and earthy, green pepper, chocolate, mineral and plum on the notes. Very stylish Rhone wine, matured well now. Worth a try.

Young and in need of air. But once given a breather the wine shows its character and potential. The oak evaporates much and a nice touch of dark fruits, liqorice and game appears on the palate. Turns into quite a hedonistic drink after that.

The Croze is a bit more expressive by the same producer, same vintage. Tighter still here on the palate however. Maybe it just needs time to come around. Prefer the Croz at the price though, which seems to be $50 lower a case.

Very fine, well balanced. Aged well. Would not go for many more years. Consume soon.

Robe sombre, presque noire, nuances violettes au niveau du disque. Nez : poivré, cerises noires, violette, animal. Bouche longue, chaude, bel équilibre entre douceur et tannins.
