Interesting I should pull the cork within 2 weeks of Terkel. Definitely an oxidized orange color and initally quite acidic and tannic. With time, I came to like it quite a bit. I found sweet generous fruit towards the end of dinner with some cherry. It is time to drink up. Better than the regular bastide blanche 98 I had 2 weeks ago.
Left bank Bordeaux: I'm not entirely sure if this bottle was off. Its color was a browning red. The nose seems oxidized with prunes and brown sugar. The taste has strong tannins and aicidity, but again the fruit seems oxidized. After a couple of hours it seemed like it might turn around for the better, however it never managed to convice that it was suppose to be this way.

(Pradeaux Bandol) I think some rank this Bandol property very highly indeed. This wine has such a deep glossy hue - Mourvèdre is very resistant to oxidation and so holds its colour well. Meaty, leather aromas. Full, ever so slightly volatile, meaty, yet elegant, with upright acidity. This is maturing well in my opinion. Lovely wine.
