Garnet ro ruby garnet at the rim, opaque and a bit cloudy. The smells are crushed cherry, cinnamon, tar, blackberry, blueberry... very complex. The tastes are cherry, olive, blueberry, cinnamon, sweet spices, espresso, stone, and garrigue. There is a little heat but this is not unbalanced, the tannins are stout, the acidity is wonderful, and there are loads of complex and delicious flavors. Fantastic bottle today.
