Decanted for 1 hour and then poured back in bottle and brought to dinner. Didn't take notes. Dark red color with a touch of sediment in the bottle. On nose, raspberry, cherry & touch of dirt. Similar palate. Medium+ body, elegant palate feel and long finish. Not as good as I expected (I had a glass of this a few years ago and loved it 94+) but a very well made wine. 92+/-

(Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape) Dark red violet color; brett, tart black fruit, subtle herbs, savory, garrigue nose; tight, garrigue, tart berry, mineral, charcoal palate; medium-plus finish (too bretty for a 2009 bottle of wine going for over $150)
