This is a very soft and fruity, easy to drink, Cotes du Rhone. No pretenses here, this is a relatively simple wine for immediate drinking, that accomplishes what it was designed to do. I can imagine some percentage of whole cluster fermentation. I can taste the transferring of fresh pressed wine with the lees to a holding tank, don't think this saw a barrel, although there is some charcoal characteristics on the roof of the mouth. Deep extracted color. Red fruit and alcohol on the nose. Some blackberry pie on the palate with black cherry, and even some plum. Adequate, but not overpowering acidity. Sneaky little tannins that show up more on the finish.Tasty, hedonistic wine will be great with hardy meat and vegetable dinners.

Nice light cotes du rhone with hints of fruit, spice, and garrigue. Paired well with comte and Mt. Tam soft cheese.

On the lighter side, but super appealing, with juicy flavors of cherry, spice and earth. A fantastic summer patio wine.

Very pretty wine. Smooth on the palate - red licorice, garrigue, minerality. Hints of barnyard on the nose. Nice acidity. Very good.
