Absolutely singing. Dense stoney minerality, with what suggestion of fruit was there before turned into a really lovely secondary, prickly and lingering pineapple sort of vibe that goes on for ages. Quite Burgundian TM. In the prime of its life. Congrats to everyone else out there that held this.

Starbright lemon color - still appears young Medium aromas with a little unripe stonefruit but almost completely consisting of intense minerality - dry rocks and saline Medium plus palate - slight citrus but again dominated by intense mineral feel Medium plus acidity and medium/long finish Very good wine - almost completely mineral in character which I found very appealling

Single blind tasting Clear straw color Medium + aromatics of salt, spice and rocks Medium palate with medium + acidity. Mineral driven palate with no significant fruit characteristics. Typical medium finish. I feel it lacked the secondary fruit or other notes to make this older Muscadet noteworthy. It did beg for shellfish as company though.

Continues to age nicely but just so slightly a whiff of varnish on the nose. Tasting was consistent with my note of Oct 2021. Delish!

This wine has matured and rounded out very nicely. Smooth stones and fresh lemony grass. A delight to drink.
