Medium crimson color. Throughout both the nose and the palate this is rich but balanced, with fruit, spice and stone in harmonious equilibrium. Finishing with plush, resolved tannins, this is likely at the peak of its drinking potential. An ideal accompaniment to grilled steaks, this is a nice example of how charmingly a judiciously-made California Cabernet can mature. I don't know anything about signatories Mssrs. O'Neill and Vosti or the unfortunately-named Xtant Wines, but at just above $40/bottle I'd go back to this in a heartbeat.

A bit unbalanced as the alcohol never quite integrated and kept getting in the way of an otherwise well structured wine. Holding up well at this point with the color moving to garnet but not yet bricking. Not as extracted as most Napa reds and not a bit of sediment in the bottle. The fruit isn't in your face and there's an herbaceous green quality, along with a dusty dry earth note. The oak imparts more of an unsweetened cocoa note, than vanilla or toffee. Even though this is 60% cab it feels kind of right bank, albeit without any barnyard.

Really nice, agree with prior comments re: complexity; cassis, cedar, a reasonable amount of vanilla, well balanced, drinking beautifully at the moment.
