Pop and pour and served with food (prime NY strip steak, and salad, in case you were wondering). Dark color. Rich fruits of black cherries and plums. Deeply concentrated with levels of fruit. Dry, dusty tannins fill the mouth. Dark chocolate notes with some good acidity on the finish. The tannic element is a bit off-putting, otherwise this would be an outstanding wine. Tasted again on the following day. Shows a bit of heat but still holding up well.
