Outstanding bottle of wine. Benefited tremendously from about a two hour decant. Old world style nose, well-integrated fruit with a lasting finish. Wish I had more.

Opened and decanted about 3 hours: it needed it: super dark red / purple in color; a little must on the nose and palate; dry tannins and a chocolate berry dry finish. Good.

Deacnted and strongly benefits from 1-2 hours in the decanter. Medium to dark purple. The wine is a little tight out of the blocks but does open up with time. Though it looks concentrated it does look and feel on the lighter bodied side for a Cab. Initially had some graphite notes on the palate that faded with time. This has an overall dark profile....licorice, some espresso, dark currants, spice and oaky char not much of a berry profile to me. Respectable finish. Tannins become much more noticeable with time in the decanter. Mouth drying after 3 hours of air. Definitely a quality wine, but the profile was not singing for me tonight. Some will like it a lot more than me I suspect. Would like to compare this to the Ramey bottling.

Popped and decanted for about an hour. Lovely tannins and deep dark root beer cherry on the flavor profile. Likely has 2-3 more years left.
