In a gorgeous place, but definitely at peak if not just starting to gradually pass the crest. Honeyed pink apples, jasmine, with hints of ripe pineapple in mango. Firmly in balance between sweetness and acidity, with a long lemon finish showing flashes of tea. This is very much a light pudding wine you could serve with not too sweet fruit based desserts. If that's not your thing, foie gras would certainly work.

It’s been ages since I’ve had an Auslese. Sweet with good acidity to give it lift. Pineapple, baked apple with a creamy texture. While it’s a wine with charm, I look for to a return to my dry Riesling.

Aromas of apricot/pineapple though also a nutty note, given its somewhat dark color I think this is a bit oxidized. Still finished the bottle and would probably rate it 89-90 with decent acidity, but will withhold a formal score due to likely mild oxidation.

Great wine. Honeyed apricot, peach, melon even. Some nuttyness and then the acidity takes over and carries this wine whilst cleansing the palatte.
Not cloying at all and the low alcohol supports the balance of fruit, body and sweetness.

Apricot nectar with a hint of pineapple and acidity to keep it fresh.
