Tuesday Night Double Blind $50+: Very light crimson; intense floral, ethereal, deep cherry, refined, some structure, balm, orange with slight riper almost blueberry; good.

Försynt vin som inte är så tillgänglig som många andra 2007or. Frukt, kryddor och mineraler som man får jobba lite för att hitta. Medelfylligt vin med hyfsad balans. Lite kort i avslutet. Troligen lagras för att få det att öppna sig lite. Bra om inte stort.

A little tight initially, this opened up some over 30-45 minutes. Nice nose with delicate berry fruit. Balanced across mid palate and finish. Enjoyed with a marinated pork tenderloin. A subtle but satisfying wine. May benefit from a few more years.

(Domaine Perrot-Minot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Fontenys Vieilles Vignes) Light medium cherry red color with 3 millimeter clear meniscus; rosehips, tart red fruit, mineral, floral nose; focused, appealing, with firm core of tart cherry, minerality and a sense of rock salt; needs 3-plus years; medium-plus finish

An Evening with Martine Saunier (Chicago, IL): Tons of sulfur on the nose. Some hints of red fruits. More tolerable palate with red/black notes. Needs time.

More restrained aromatically than the Champerrier, with more stone and asian spice than red fruit. Medium+ in body. (Notes from memory)
