Medium bodied, sweet fruit, good with green Thai curry.
I wonder how long this wine could last, it doesn’t have much tannin or texture, but the fruit sweetness suggests it could go awhile. But will it ever develop aged complexity. I have my doubts. It’s, if anything, becoming more simple.

Deep dark purple black in color with a fabulous concentrated exotic nose of spicy dark fruits, vegetal matter and damp loam. The medium-bodied palate is somewhat tart, spiciness from white peppers, herbacious, bitter sweet chocolate and currants, dark cherries and wet soil. This cool weather shiraz starts quite full and smooth but ends with a short and weak finish. This was not as good as the 2002 tasted back in 2009.

Dark ruby red with garnet hue, subtle aromas of spice, blackberry, violet, cherry and hints of smoky oak. Soft and juicy palate in a light to medium bodied frame, showing red fruits, sweet ripe cherry, spice and a touch of leather. Fresh acidity, long savoury finish with touch of earth, fine and chewy tannins. A nice cold climate Shiraz with plenty of old world nuances.

Very good. Slight struck match on nose.
Aged, spicy, savoury shiraz. Complex, not simple blackberry.
Restrained oak and low alcohol. Sophisticated yet still hearty and satisfying. Great with burgers !

Spicy flavoursome. Open knit medium bodied, with restrained oak. Could almost be Hunter Valley.
