Deep ruby colour. Medium plus aromas of vanilla, pencil shavings, blackberries. High acid, medium plus tannin which are supple and well integrated, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol, long length, blackcurrant. An excellent wine, very well balanced and still quite youthful. Great acid backbone with years to go.

Last bottle was good, but this bottle is amazing. I'm now drinking what we didn't finish last night and the wine tastes like it was made yesterday with rich cassis flavour balanced by dusty tannin and length to burn. Should make 2020 in a canter.

Not as fresh and interesting as other 2007 Margaret River cabernets, perhaps due to their lower alcohol than this.
Hopefully next bottle will be more exciting.

Not sure if this is past its best. Certainly not as enjoyable to drink as previous bottle below.

Very enjoyable and few signs of age beyond a softened palate and little vanilla and clove starting to creep into the prominent cassis flavour.
