Fruit and radish on nose. Spice on palate some sweet fruit NO bitterness. Medium finish light tannin. Fairly simple and straightforward. This didn't scream Pinot to me (beetroot, rhubarb, funk)but it was elegant.
A big fan of this wine in the past as a lovely entry level into Burgundy from a traditional producer. Must say that in this example I was disappointed. The nose is lovely - lots of depth of dark fruit with earth there too. However palette is disappointing: Fairly simple and short lived. Will keep trying (just wish he hadn't got ride of the label design. I liked its old school indiosyncrstic look. )
