Drinking fine. It's not particularly aromatically expressive. A bit drying on the finish. Still has sufficient structure ie acid and some tannin. This is the last of several bottles, none of which have met my expectations.

Medium-pale red color with medium transparency. Red-fruited nose of strawberry, raspberry, and a bit of cherry. A bit of moss/sous bois shows up in the background. Palate has interesting mix of red berry fruit up front with some rhubarb, fennel, sous bois, truffle, and maybe a bit of coffee in the background. The coffee notes give me some pause as I associate them with oxidation but this holds well in the glass over several hours. Drinking well to my tastes. Drink at leisure.

opened after a corked bottle of same. This showed pretty, if not particularly energetic. The tannins are largely resolved. There's ample acidity to give it cut and structure. Popped and poured, initially a bit tight, the nose got better after about an hour open.

Upon opening, aromas of wet cardboard filled the room. This may have been the most severely corked wine I've ever had. It was apparent it was bad before even trying to smell it. So bad my spouse immediately rushed the bottle and cork to the trash to get it out of the house. So bad that washing my hands once still left the scent of TCA on them.

Not much to rave about, okay, but nothing special
