Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Tremendously balanced wine, layered with complexity over the couple of hours of our German meal (kassler, leberkäse, sauerkraut, etc.). Immediate pétillant impression (impression only, from a restrained but cleansing acidity; balanced, I would say perfectly balanced, with a fine, mute, residual sweetness). Layers of minerality balanced by crisp and refreshing fruit - the impression I keep getting is the crispest red apple - in the taste and mouthfeel. An excellent value, as well.
