In the era of COVID I've been shopping in my closet and finding stuff we should have uncorked long ago. This is one of those.
I expected it to truly suck and to pour it down the drain after a preliminary sip. Not the case. Decanted and let it rest for an hour.
Soft and round, tannins pretty much gone. But berry and fruit flavor still there. More depth than I expected.
No one can buy any of this wine anymore so the review is kind of useless. Other than as a testament to decent Napa Cab - as long as it's treated reasonably well. And this was only treated decently for 20+ years. Not exceptionally. Cheers.
needed an hour to open up; may have benefited from more but we could not wait; good color, great nose and an outstanding full mouth finish thst lingered. much better than I expected from the first taste after opening. Very drinkable now....may benefit from another year of cellaring but no more.

Delectable! Needs some time to breathe but it very nice stuff. Fully integrated tannins, delicate upfront and than it spreads out.
