  ABV: 12.5%. The nose displays a lot of forest floor and roasted herbs with some fruit characteristics hidden underneath this herbaceous front. On the mid-palate, there's a smooth mouthfeel with well-integrated acidity, lifting the fruit to exhibit a black cherry cola-like profile towards a lengthy and pleasant finish. This is a solid wine and with such a low ABV, it should be able to cellar for another decade. If you're planning to open your bottle soon, I'd recommend decanting it for at least an hour to "wake up" the fruit.

  Consumed over two days. Day 1 typical PN bouquet although somewhat muted. Satisfactory fruit with smooth but short finish. Day 2 everything a little less intense. In sum, a good but not excellent sipping wine. Looking forward to bottle #2 in the future.
