Our last of 3 bottles. Decanted and drank over 3 hours. Tons of sediment. First two hours were the best. Definitely in late maturity but still delicious. Color is now a dark maroon with a burnt orange rim, and the nose has a leather, cherry, and slight prune aroma. Full bodied, very complex, still some acidity and still some tannins to shed. Not sure the fruit will survive the tannins. Loved it, but it was the least favorite of the three bottles we had. An incredible wine. What a ride.

Amazing again. Our second to last bottle. Been drinking these since 2018 and all have been outstanding 94-96. They continue to evolve and are slightly different each time. This one was very smooth, dark fruits, tobacco, spice, vanilla, soy, hint of leather and touch of oak. Great with eggplant parmigiana. Did begin to fade about 2 hours after opening, suggesting maybe 2-5 years left at this stage. Will drink our last bottle by 2025.

Agree word for word with VANPE003. This is drinking beautifully. My last bottle. No need to wait. Effortless, big taste, light bodied, still vibrant. A treat.

Drinking extremely well right now. Have had some bottle variation, but this one is a good one. Solid depth, fully integrated, ready to go. No reason not to drink now. I don't imagine it getting better than it is tonight. Excellent pairing with lamb.
