Had over lunch of 45 minutes.decant the next one for two hours. Pronounced nose some cassis fruit soft silky tannins mouth coating rich long finish. At its peak.

Deep Red, dense blackcurrant and blackberry on the nose, ripe fruit, with an element of liquorish and prominent tannins. Wine will reward medium term cellaring, assuming the ripe fruit doesn't fade too much
This is simply delicious. A dark ruby-purple and opaque, notes of vanilla, blueberries and cassis jump out of the glass. On the palate the tannins are fine but persistent, nicely balanced acidity with a fat midpalate of dark fruit and figs. Medium length. Not very complex but a crowd pleaser for sure. I see this wine evolving over the next 2-3 years and starting to decline in 4-5 years, but it's very nice now.

Still very nice, with lots of vanilla, blackberries and tobacco.
