Weekly tasting group RWP #318; 4 random flights of 3 wines (@ RW): Licorice and dark berries in the bouquet. On the palate eucalyptus, a firm amount of sweet dark and red berries, beautiful acidity and mild tannin. Beautiful wine. Ready now and the next few years.

Super classic Aussie Shiraz nose. Ripe, plummy, cocoa, but one of the fresher Bishops I’ve had on the palate and showing some nice development. Real chocolate notes on the palate, kirsch, a hint of chewing tobacco... smashing.

(AshtonPinot Brunner!) Black dark florals + blackcurrants. Brawny barrossan shiraz with still tall and tight tannins, showing some cherry and leather, leading to a long leafy finish and some blackberries. Drink again in 5 years?

Weekly tasting group RWP #268: 10 completely different wines fully blind (@ RW): Extremely ripe berries and cherries. Some spiciness. On the palate the same impressions, ok acidity and a lot of sweetness. Special. No score.

Texture good, but spoiled by an acidic note I don't remember from previous bottles
