Turned into a beautiful mature cabernet with time in decanter; fruit is still powerful, balanced by acidity suggesting this wine can go several years longer; forceful from nose through finish

Subtlet's birthday party! Like many other Andrew Will wines, the CT drinking dates on this are woefully short. This was in great shape, nicely mature, with smooth but healthy tannins and nicely evolved fruit. Very happy with this showing, and great value at recent auction.

Still delicious. Red fruits, strong acid. Tannins mostly resolved, but a little grip on the finish. Leather and dust on the nose. With air, red fruit comes on the nose. Palate remains very fruit focused, but on the cranberry side of things. A hint of green pepper adds intrigue to the finish.
Really terrific. Bought this at auction; makes me want to age my new release bottles much longer than I have been.

Didn’t take notes on this, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. Likely in its prime.

Nice wine but was definitely a step down from the Dominus before it. Berries and cherries with a firm core.
