  Strong red cherry taste, medium body, perfect pairing with duck breast in cherry and tawney port sauce with wild rice and brussel sprouts.

  This was my 1st bottle of a wine I purchased 5 years ago based on critic ratings. Since this was only $20, the story is going very well, as is the wine. Not in the old style of Rioja, which I like a lot, but in a mid-style with a little musty edge on the oak and bright fruit. A great bottle of wine.

  Better and fuller than the 2006. In my opinion it equalled the supposedly superior Arana 2004. An excellent wine. Very Vina Alberdi.
