  Blunt, big and alcoholic (15% that feel). Not my style at all. More time will probably neither harm nor help it.

  Everything in place here, beautifully so. Paul Hobbs has conquered the South Americas for sure with this. Could have used a decant, maybe an hour, but P&P was lovely. Big, but not overpowering (served with pork chops), all the cab elements in place; cassis; berries; ripe enough, not overly oaked, but certainly a wood presence. Just delicious.

  Thought this may be a flawed bottle, as the initial barnyard nose was quite intense, almost rancid. This partially blew off quickly, but never really dissipated. The palate was full-bodied, with rich and mature dark fruit - actually fantastic. Lingering nose prevents a higher score.

It is ready to drink now, though it can be stored for anoteher 5-7 years.
