  This Pinot comes from Whistling Ridge Vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge region of the Willamette. It's produced and bottled by Matello in McMinnville, Oregon. This wine is very light colored cranberry slightly red tinged with a nose of raspberry, strawberry, and black olive. Don't let the light color fool you the wine has loads of flavor. It starts out with a light to medium body then a sweetish tart fruit. The middle is acidic and flavorful with a tannic finish that is numbing and long lasting.
