Coravin tasting at Bardot (Park Avenue Wines) | (246 page views) | | What they had on the coravin board today plus a small taste of a special Grand Cru Chablis. - 2006 Marcarini Barolo La Serra - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo
Earth, hazelnuts wrapped in mild cranberries. Minerality. Tannins are still drying and there is a bright acidity. Still needs time, won't be amazing but it's solid.
- 1996 Bodegas Vega-Sicilia Ribera del Duero Valbuena 5° - Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero
Mint, smoked meat, tannins are completely integrated. Very vibrant acidity. Long finish. (91 pts.)
- 2010 Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ-Canet - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru
Sour cream and melon on the nose and palate. Beautiful finish no rough edges. Beautiful. (92 pts.)
- 2011 Dauvissat-Camus Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis Grand Cru
Very clean on the palate. Mineral driven. Amazingly there are subtle chocolate notes and sweet melon. Really great. (93 pts.)
