Slight strawberry; rich but also fresh. Nice! 88-89 (88 pts.)
- 2015 Ridge Geyserville - USA, California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley
Medium youthful ruby; moderately aromatic, red fruit, cranberry, spice; palate is medium bodied, medium acid, nice spice, nice body; medium finish. Superb. 91-93 (92 pts.)
- 2015 Ridge Zinfandel Hooker Creek - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley
Red cranberry; palate is medium bodied, much less complex than the geyserville but excellent fruit; medium finish. 88 (88 pts.)

Lovely aromatics, nice red fruit, nice density on the nose, almost some spice; palate has rich ripe red fruit, medium bodied, lovely density but excellent freshness, medium to medium-plus acid; medium finish. Lovely merlot. 90-91 (91 pts.)

Deep black fruits on the nose, aromatics are a tad limited compared to the merlot; full bodied, tons of black fruits, balanced medium acid; medium finish. 88-90 (89 pts.)

Lovely aromatics on the nose with red fruit, black fruit, slight spice, some vanilla; palate is full bodied, surprisingly approachable tannins but still youthful, tons of primary fruit; long finish. Excellent, but perhaps less long lived than the 2013. 92 (92 pts.)
