This wine: Disgorged 2022. Deep gold color. Very oxidative style as (almost) always from Selosse. Nutty notes. You never quite know with Selosse but this time it was outstanding though Cuvee Blanc de Blancs Substance was even better, I rated that 95. (94 pts.)

This wine: All Marguet's 6 tasted cuvees were pretty developed. The finish was not that long. I was a little disappointed. However Guillaume Marguet had brought with him a very special cuvee he called "Freedom" which is a natural wine version of the official Ambonnay cuvee. It is not on the market. The only difference is that it has not been disgorged (i.e. the yeast has not been removed) meaning that the wine is extremely hazy. What about the flavours? Shortly they are like natural wine in general compared to traditional wine; more fruit-juice-like. I would have expected the yeast notes (bread dough etc.) being more dominating but that was not the case. Extremely interesting to taste even though I like the traditional version significantly better (I rated it 92)! (89 pts.)

Did not expect anything but was highly surprised! I would have guessed Village level from a renowned Domaine, but no, only regional level. One of my favorite white producers in Burgundy is Domaine Leflaive. This is "classical Leflaive style" including popcorn/toast and a little (but not too much) oak. So much value for money. No wonder, Morey is the former winemaker from Leflaive... (92 pts.)

All 4 cuvees were deep purple, extremely rich/concentrated, fruity and had very high tannins. The finish was extremely long. 2021 did have the most extreme tannins. 2020 the longest finish.
