Very drinkable at this early age, and I think a bit more depth and interest that others I have had like this, such as Muga. But you can have such an experience for less money. You don't really get value for your money from quality wines like Contino Reserva unless you keep it another decade, I would reckon. (430 views)

Cherry fruit seasoned with vanilla set in a soft velvety texture. There was a savoury entry but as the wine developed, the sweetness of the fruit became more evident with a light coating of cocoa. Nicely balanced, smooth, svelte and suave, a bitter note became evident from the mid-palate through to the finish. In sum, it didn’t quite hit the heights I was hoping for, particularly when compared to a Muga Reserva, but a good wine nonetheless. CHP 89 pts (134 views)
