Happy way beyond price point on this one. I recall $20+- a few years and believe some decent ratings prompted the purchase and it is a steal. Nice fruit but not too much. Fine grainy tannin but not too much. Some acid and a lingering finish. Glad I have more. 92+ (61 views)

On the nose, catch a slight Brett, laying over a bed of ripe strawberries, raspberries, bramble, and a hint of oak.

On the palate, stewed berries, hints of barnyard, red apples, cherries, and a cut of oak.

Tasted at the winery during a library event, and thought this wine around a 93 with intense quintessential aromas and tastes of Gamay, perhaps just this bottle but the Brett has really thrown me off. (58 views)
