2007 Louis Jadot Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Domaine Louis Jadot (France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru) 5/5/2024Burgundy Al93

Pausing for the Cause Fundraiser and Dinner (Obelix - Chicago IL): From magnum alongside the Clos St Jacques. Reticent nose showcasing red and black cherry, much like the CSJ, but more explosive and assertive flavors, showing more richness, meat, and spice, with very good depth and density. Upside from here. 2007 Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques Domaine Louis Jadot (France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru) 5/5/2024Burgundy Al91

Pausing for the Cause Fundraiser and Dinner (Obelix - Chicago IL): From magnum alongside the Chambertin-Clos de Bèze. Ripe red and black cherries throughout gives this a plush start, then more reserved middle forward. Good depth and weight, nicely balanced now. At its peak. (42 views)

1995 Louis Jadot Clos St. Denis (France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Clos St. Denis Grand Cru) 5/6/2024charlie-q93

Need 3 hrs to open up with sufficient headroom in the bottle or a slim decanter.

Remains primary notes + much development makes this bottle a quite layered and perfumed one. It’s accurately made and typical lifted Pinot. Drink now, probably prime. (33 views)

1996 Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru) 5/5/2024fclarity94

From a bottle purchased early on, this wine looked great with a deep yellow center ad clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose took a while to come around. It showed citrus, white stone, and a little smoke. It still seemed a bit tight but was certainly in the zone.

As you would expect for a 96, this wine was quite crisp which covered up the fact that it was also rich and fruit driven. It had excellent length.

This was surprisingly good and verging on 95 points. It would probably have gotten there if I had given it 5 hours of decanting instead of only 3.

Impressive. (44 views)

1993 Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru) 5/4/2024coremill89

A good example of an aged white burgundy that's well past its prime but not oxidized. Immaculate cork. Golden color, but not brown. No real fruit left, instead it's all vanilla and mint and cream and hazelnut. The palate lacks extract at this stage, but still has enough mineral crunch to offset the acid. No sherry/rancio flavors. Enjoyable for necroheads like me that like this sort of thing. (33 views)

2021 Louis Jadot Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot (France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis Grand Cru) 5/5/2024Ben Christiansen

Really big and creamy. While delicious, didn't quite taste like Chablis to me. But that was just a passing impression. (51 views)

2020 Louis Jadot Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Ile des Vergelesses (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru) 5/5/2024Poussin89

By the glass at Vagabond, London. Nose is a little reticent and a little stalky, not giving much away. This belies the palate, which is cool and delicately-structured, showing juicy raspberries entwined with a fine vein of linear acidity that really propels the wine along and leaves the palate clean. The tannins here barely make themselves felt. A very pretty wine for short-term drinking. (32 views)

2012 Louis Jadot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle Domaine du Duc de Magenta (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru) 5/4/2024rocknroller93

Pale gold color. PNP, split bottle over 2 hours. Gunflint, lemon, smoke, white flowers and aromatic dried bay leaf and limestone. The palate is medium bodied, driven, great cut and filled with dry extract, sour lemon, smoke, river rock, limestone, tarragon, gunflint, tart apple, white grapefruit, wood spice. Drinking great, and on a relative basis, aging glacially. 92+ to 93pts. (56 views)

2009 Louis Jadot Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès Château des Jacques (France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Moulin-à-Vent) 5/3/2024mdefreitas

Will this wine ever age? No signs of bricking; still quite youthful. Quite a bit of black fruits and spice. While not what I would expect from Beaujolais (too dark and roasted), it was fun to drink (88 views)

2018 Louis Jadot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle Domaine du Duc de Magenta (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru) 5/3/2024TheDrunkMonk90

On the nose: white spring flowers, lemon, sweet grass. Very creamy on the palate, nutty, buttery, then transitions to dill on the finish. Paired perfectly with roasted Brussels sprouts and vegetarian stuffed mushrooms. Drinking beautifully now, could definitely cellar another 5 years. We have another we will keep till then. (32 views)

2017 Louis Jadot Saint-Romain Blanc (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Romain) 5/3/2024tward88

Very Good+
No notes, with a group casually. On PnP it seemed to lack fruit in the middle, but this filled in quickly and the bottle drank nicely. While not a stunner, it was down the middle in a good way - middle-range fruit, ripeness, acid, and finish.

2006 Louis Jadot Griotte-Chambertin (France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru) 5/4/2024americanstorm96

This was fantastic. About 10 minutes in the glass then drank over about 90 minutes. Red cherry with a hit of raspberries on its Bueatiful nose. Pallet of sweet red fruit, a touch of almond and maybe licorice. Smooth, great mouthfeel and long finish. Wish I had bought a few more bottles. Everyone loved this. Might be the nicest burgundy i have had. Has aged well and is solidly in its prime drinking window. Absolutely loved this! (23 views)
